' I want to do singing lessons but i dont have a lot of spare time'

Depending on what your goal is in Singing lessons - you may not need weekly lessons. I currently teach some students that come every other week but have longer lessons. For the school age students that want to take exams I would reccomend weekly 30 minute classes. Alternitivly some people come to lessons that may just want a basic ten lessons to improve confidence or working on a production that they want help with.

'I can not read music can I still come to singing lessons'

Certainly - in lessons we work on a mixture of music theory as well as practical.

'Do I need to bring anything to my first lesson'

No - unless there is a certain song you would like to work on. Although I have plently of music myself to get us started if you are unsure. I do request if I have re occuring students to bring a notepad so we can write down what they need to work on, and a folder to keep music in.

'Im unsure on the style I want to sing, or the exam route I want to take - do they lessons have to based on a certain style'

Not at all - some of the lesson is taken up by vocal technique exercises and then we can work through different genres to see what you enjoy and works best for your voice. There is no pressure to take exams, although it is always a route students can take.

'Can I just come to have help picking an audition song for stage school/production'

Yes please do! I love doing this - with my back ground I really know what the panel are looking for in auditions and we will pick a song that really shows your assetts.
